As part of the Noya yuthu thana Project, our club successfully organized an encouraging event for 500 school children. To support their participation and promote healthy habits, each student was provided with a fresh milk packet, a nutritious sandwich, and a piece of cake . The children enthusiastically joined the activities, making the special event a resounding success. We extend our sincere gratitude to all members whose dedication made this impactful community service project possible.

Under District 306 D2, the Lions Club of Boralesgamuwa organized the 465th session of the youth empowerment program "Noya Yuthu Thana" (Where You Should Not Belong) on Thursday, August 6th, at Sewanagala Maha Vidyalaya Auditorium. The initiative focused on guiding school youth toward disciplined lives, protecting them from social evils, and preventing child abuse and domestic violence. Conceptualized and conducted by former Commissioner of Prisons Lion Jagath Weerasinghe MJF, MAF, JP, the interactive session emphasized character building, sound decision-making, and social responsibility. Led by Service Chairperson Lion Sadeva Kumar, the event drew strong participation from students, teachers, and community members. for this occasion Region chairperson L Sarath, President L Sumudu,L Anil,L Bandar, L Priyanka, L Udaya, L Dilumi, L Lasan has been participated.
